Todicia Denis’ Johnson, of Springfield, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on May 5, 2026. She was born on October 22, 1988, in Springfield, the beloved daughter of Maryjo Johnson and Jesse Robinson. Known affectionately as Toddy, she dedicated 20 years to her work as a nursing assistant, caring for people in need with compassion, patience, and a servant’s heart. Helping others wasn’t just her career — it was her calling, and she touched countless lives through her kindness. Toddy loved her family deeply. She was incredibly proud of her children and becoming a T‑Maw to her grandson was her greatest joy. Her smile grew brighter whenever she spoke about him. She will be remembered as fun, hardworking, caring, and above all, one of the most loving and giving young women you could ever meet. Her generosity and spirit will continue to live on through everyone who loved her. She is survived by Her spouse Dirk Derneville, Her mother Maryjo Johnson (Charles Berrien) Her father Jesse Robinson. Her Children Amauria Johnson (Cayden Ostendorf); Asharee’ Johnson; Robert Johnson; Antonia Johnson; Rhiece Johnson Her grandchildren Louie Jo Royal Ostendorf; Baby Boy Ostendorf. Her siblings Tiffany Johnson; Jay Davis II; Chantelle Robinson; Anthony (Tiera) Robinson; Zavion Young‑Robinson. Grandparents Robert and Shirley Tarbutton; Harry and Robin Channels. Special friends Angel McCabe‑Perkins; Brittany Bass; Torionna Harris; Kelli McEane. Special Aunts Amber (Jeremiah) Coley. Monika Channels. A Mother’s Final Message to Her Daughter My beautiful Toddy, you were my heart from the moment I first held you, and you will always be my heart. I don’t know how to walk through this world without you, but I will carry your love with me every step I take. You gave me joy, you gave me purpose, and you gave me a kind of love that only a daughter can give her mother. I thank God for every day I had with you. Rest now, my baby. Rest in His arms. I will miss you for the rest of my life, Mommy loves you.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, May 14 in the Victory Faith Center, 424 South Fountain Avenue, Springfield Ohio 45506 with Pastor Pauline Hamblin officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until the time of the services in the church. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
