Kerry Vance Smith

                        Kerry Vance Smith, 56, of Cable, Ohio, passed away February 6, 2019 in Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 17, 1962 in Springfield, the son of Samuel A. and Joy (Gaver) Smith. Mr. Smith attended Faith Fellowship Church. He enjoyed working on cars and semi trucks and he loved to “tinker” with almost anything. He had worked as a self employed truck driver and also had been employed at Harris Thomas. Kerry was a graduate of Tecumseh High School. He is survived by his devoted wife of fifteen years; Kimberly (Jones) Smith, one loving son; Tyler Vance Smith, Medway and his beloved granddaughter; Blair Carroll. He was preceded in death by a step son; Joshua Carroll and his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Roger Childers officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in South Vienna Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.jkzfh.com.
