Joanne Sylvia (Waldron) Barry

Joanne Sylvia Barry, 74, of Springfield, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 in her daughter’s home surrounded by her family. She was born January 17, 1944 in Springfield, the daughter of Clarence and Evelyn (Gassett) Waldron. Joanne had worked in the pharmacy department at Walmart. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James Barry; two children, Tammy Davis (Rick Fremder) of Springfield and Edward (Becky) Barry of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Austin, Allison, and Alex Davis; great-grandson, Zayden Davis; and niece and nephews, Dickie Waldron, Brenda Poe, Donnie Waldron, and Russ Waldron. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Green, Russell Waldron, and Clarence Waldron III, and her parents. Per Joanne’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
