Clifford Leroy Manley, 81, of Springfield, passed away January 7, 2019 in Wooded Glen. He was born December 26, 1937 in Springfield, the son of Hubert and Mildred (Hixon) Manley. Mr. Manley was a member of Risen Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing golf and the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. Mr. Manley was retired from the Post Office following many years of service. Following his retirement he also worked at Lowes and K Mart. Clifford was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Survivors include two daughters; Teresa (Mark) Gunzelman and Pamela Manley (Jeffrey Creamer) all of Springfield, four grandchildren; Tiffany Harris, Sam Arnold, Mitch (Taylor) Arnold and Shelbi Creamer, five great grandchildren; Cayden, Billy, Maggie, Bentley and McKenzi, one brother; David Manley, Springfield, several nieces and nephews and special friend; Bill Hayner. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday in Risen Christ Lutheran Church, 41 East Possum Road, Springfield, OH with Pastor Rich Tursic officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services in the church. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Mr. Manley’s family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Wooded Glen and to Kindred Hospice for all of their wonderful care.
